Acetylene filling safety operation procedures

1.The preparation before filling

(1). Check whether the acetylene filling pressure gauge is ok or not.

(2). Push empty bottles to the preset location, connect filling joint well, open the cylinder valve.

2.The Preparation of filling operation and in the process of filling

(1) Open the Filling unit general valve, relief valve, upon passing the tests and

the pipeline pressure is higher than in the acetylene cylinder, open the

filling valve(branch valve) of each cylinder.

(2) In the process of filling, should check all the joint part of valve and cylinder,

cylinder valve and fusible alloy plug every hour, if have any leak, shall be disposed of properly.

(3) Pay attention to the bottle wall temperature at any time, must not exceed 40 ℃, such as found that more than 40 ℃, should be disposed of properly.

(4) The filling volume flow rate of acetylene cylinder should be less than 0.015 m3/ h.L.

(5) Using gradation filling, after the first time filling should stand for more than 8 h before the second filling.

(6) In summer, filling according to room temperature to take water spray cooling.

(7) When filling the Cylinder, do according to the relationship list between the filling pressure and temperature.

(8) After filling, close the cylinder valve first, then close the filling unit general valve, open the return gas valve, let the residual gas back into the gas holder and then close the branch valve.
