The nitrogen generation plant is a kind of equipment which uses air as raw material to separate oxygen and nitrogen in it by using physical methods to obtain nitrogen.

There are two kinds of nitrogen generation plants classified according the process technology. One is cryogenic nitrogen generation plant which produces high purity N2 by making use of cryogenic technology, the other is Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generation plant which separates nitrogen from air by using a high-efficiency and high-selectivity solid adsorbent to selectively adsorb nitrogen and oxygen.
