Firstly, the atmospheric air is roughly filtered and compressed by a compressor, which provides the pressurized air to deliver to the downstream unit. The amount of air sucked in depends on the customer's nitrogen demand.

Secondly, the pressurized air flows into the cooling section to be cooled to 5-10°C. And the water which contained in the air is also separated in this process.

Thirdly, the pressurized air enters into the purifying section where the carbon dioxide, acetylene and water contained in the air are all removed.

After that, the purified pressurized air flows into the cold box to do the final process.

And finally, the high purity nitrogen is produced after finishing all process above.
