Screw air compressor maintenance steps
I. The use of lubricating oil and the maintenance of the machine
1. The lubricant used for the equipment must be original one. Lubricating oil has a decisive influence on the performance of oil-injected screw air compressors. If we used the lubricationg oil improperly or incorrectly, it will cause serious damage to the rotor and bearings of the air compressor, resulting in deterioration of the oil and gas separation effect, and causing the exhaust temperature to deviate seriously from the reasonable range.
2. Factors which affect the oil change cycle
(1) Poor ventilation or poor water supply, and the ambient temperature is too high;
(2) The high relative humidity of the environment;
(3) The environment is dusty;
(4) The air intake of the compression molding machine contains unnatural ingredients.
3. Oil change steps
(1) Run the air compressor for a while to increase the oil temperature and improve the fluidity of the oil to facilitate discharge;
(2) Press the stop button to stop;
(3) When the pressure of the oil-gas bucket is lower than 0.05MPa, open the oil drain valve at the bottom of the oil-gas bucket. The oil discharge speed is very fast and easy to spray because of the pressure, so it should be opened slowly to prevent the lubricant from splashing. After the lubricant has been drained, close the drain valve.
Note: All lubricating oil in the system must be cleaned, including pipelines, coolers, oil and gas barrels, etc.
(4) Open the oil filler plug and inject new oil.
4. Precautions for the use of lubricating oil
(1) The scrapping and replacement of oil products depends on whether the machine is new or old, the temperature, humidity, dust and abnormal components in the air of the operating environment. Generally speaking, After the new air compressor running for 500 hours, it comes the first time that we should change the new oil. And then we need change oil one more time after 1000 running hours. After that, we just change oil one time every 2000 hours. The non-continuous operation of the air compressor should be changed in time.
(2) Do not let the lubricating oil exceed the service life of the oil product, and the oil product should be replaced on time, otherwise the quality of the oil product will decrease, the lubricity will be poor, and the life of the machine head bearing will be reduced. It is easy to cause high-temperature shutdown; at the same time, because the flash point of the oil drops, it is also easy to cause spontaneous combustion of the oil which may burn the air compressor.
(3) After the air compressor has been used for two years, it's better to use lubricating oil to do the oil "system cleaning" work. The method is to replace the new lubricating oil. After the air compressor has been running for 6-8 hours, change immediately the lubricating oil, and clean the remaining organic components in the system throughly, so that the replaced lubricating oil will have a longer service life.
(4) It must use the same brand lubricants , and it's forbidden to mix lubricants of different brands.
II. Maintenance of the air filter
1. When prompted by the display or every 500 hours of operation, the air filter should be cleaned. Remove the filter element and use low-pressure air to blow the dust from the inside to the outside.
2. The air filter should be replaced every 2000 hours of operation.
3. The cleaning or replacement cycle should be shortened when the environment is bad.
4. Pay attention to prevent objects from falling into the intake valve to prevent the host from being stuck and burned when cleaning or replacing.
III. Replacement of oil filter
1. The filter should be replaced after 500 hours of operation for the first time.
2. It should be replaced after every 2000 hours of operation.
3. It is better to replace the filter when changing the oil.
4. The replacement cycle should be shortened when the environment is bad.
5. Replacement should be done after stopping the machine and releasing the pressure.
IV. The replacement of the filter of the oil fine separator
1. Under normal operation, the oil fine separator can work for about 3000 hours, but the pollution degree of the lubricating oil and the surrounding environment has a great influence on its life. If the environmental pollution is serious, consider installing a pre-air filter.
Generally speaking, whether the oil fine separation filter is damaged or not can be judged by the following methods:
A. The oil content in the air pipeline increases;
B. The pressure difference before and after the oil fine separator exceeds 0.12MPa;
C. Whether the current increases or not.
2. Safety matters: The replacement should be carried out after shutting down and confirming that the system is pressure-free.
3. The replacement method of the external oil fine separator is the same as the replacement method of the oil filter.
4. How to replace the built-in oil fine separation filter element:
A. Disassemble the upper cover branch pipeline of the oil and gas barrel
B. Disassemble the fastening screws of the upper cover of the oil and gas barrel
C. Remove the upper cover of the oil and gas barrel
D. Take out the old oil-gas separation filter element and replace it with a new one.
E. Install it in the reverse order of disassembly.
5. Note: There is an asbestos gasket on the top and bottom of the oil fine separation filter flange, and there are metal conductive sheets such as staples on the gasket to prevent the generation of static electricity in the oil fine separation filter element. Replace the original nails.
6. Note: Ensure that the distance between the oil return pipe of the oil and gas barrel and the bottom of the oil fine separator is 2~3mm when install it.
7. Note: During the process of replacing the oil fine separation filter, it is necessary to prevent unclean items from falling into the oil and gas barrel.
8. The machine should be turned on to check for oil leakage after the replacement is completed, .
